On Saturday between General Conference Sessions, Calissa, Travis and I went on a hike to Mt. Diablo.
We missed a turn off and what was going to be a short 3-4 mile hike ...
ended up being a 7+ mile hike up mountain.
Behind us is the summit of Mt. Diablo. We probably would have continued on up, by Calissa was the only one who brought water and we were pretty thirsty by then!
It was a beautiful hike, but very steep for the last mile or so heading up! We "skied" down because it was so steep and slippery!
There were some beautiful flowers along the way too!
Towards the end we were crossing a small river on some rocks and I might have fallen in. Well ... my feet both fell in!
We definitely created some fun family memories. Just wish Conner could have been there with us too!
