Conner!

Conner has had a busy few months!
Here is a project that he did for his GATE science class.  He had to replicate the bones in the human body using noddles.  Didn't he do a great job?
Conner also went in and got braces!
He got his braces on, on Monday, March 11th.  So far, he only has 4 on the top, but will be getting more soon.  He's doing a great job taking care of them and should only have them on for 12-16 months.
Conner also had a fun part in our Ward's Roadshow the end of March.  The theme for the stake was Movie Mashup.  Our ward mashed up "Napoleon Dynamite" and "The Sound of Music."  It was called "The Sound of Dynamite!"  Conner did a great job and had a lot of personality.  Doesn't he look great with that mustache?

Stake Conference

We had a special Stake Conference this year because one of the Twelve Apostles was visiting for a training meeting for Bishops and Stake Presidencies.  L. Tom Perry was supposed to come, but he got sick at the last minute so Quentin L. Cook came instead.  Travis attended the meeting on Saturday while I attended a wedding and then the whole family got to attend the special meeting on Sunday at the temple.
It was a beautiful day, especially for March!
It's always a special treat to get to be in the presence of one of the Twelve. Our family went up after to shake his hand and meet him.  It will be something I hope the kids will always remember.

We love having Stake Conference at the temple and being there as a family!

Snow Camp

--posted by Conner
My dad and I went on a snow camp out for scouts.  We had a great time, but it was pretty cold at night.  We slept in the tent and it was really cold, but we had a fun time!
For Breakfast we had omelets with spam in them and biscuits with gravy.
Dad making and serving breakfast. (I made dinner for everyone).
After breakfast, we ran off having a snowball fight and built a snow woman.
Me in line for breakfast.
Getting our first fire going. (I was freezing!!)
Our second fire we made after our other one sank a foot in the snow.
