Exploratorium and Pier 39

Last Friday, the last day of Spring Break, Trav took the day off and we took the kids (and Victoria) to the Exploratorium in the city.  We had some traffic to get there (and get home) but we had a fun day enjoying all the science, physics, and hands-on learning.
We started the day off with Calissa getting a drink out of a toilet.
Come on Conner ... just one picture!
In the Living Science area by a huge tree stump.
Calissa did this quiet walk through gravel and you have to see how quietly you can walk through it.
A lady that had been sitting there a while said Calissa was the quietest walker that she had seen.  Evidently it pays to not weigh very much!
Travis using sound waves to make water bounce!

Trying out some experiments in the sound area.
Shhh!  Don't tell Conner I took his picture!
 Light and mirror fun!
Parker and I hanging out upside down.
Victoria and Calissa in the perspective house.
I told them to jump. :)
 Playing with light

After spending several hours exploring the exploratorium, we walked down to Pier 39 for some lunch and sight seeing.  We saw Coit Tower along the way.
We had a late lunch in some pizza place at Pier 39 and Parker and Victoria ran into a couple of kids they knew from Concord High.
It was kind of windy and Conner was afraid his hat might blow off!
 A family shot.
Had to take a quick look at the Sea Lions.

Then, one last picture before we headed home.
