Trunk or Treat and Halloween

We had our annual "Trunk or Treat" at the church last Saturday.  Before we left, we went outside to take a few pictures and there was a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

Parker and Conner were at a "Dance-a-thon" at the school for the choir, so it was just Calissa, her friend Gracie, Travis and I.
Calissa REALLY wanted to be a vampire this Halloween.  She makes a beautiful vampire, I think! Her friend Gracie is the Grim Reaper.
Watch out ... she'll get you!

Tina came with Christopher and Lindsay and we had a great turnout and went through tons of candy.

Calissa was excited to dress up on Halloween for school.  She didn't get to in Elementary School, so this was a treat! We picked up pizza for dinner and Conner and Trav stayed home to pass out candy while Calissa and I went trick or treating in the neighborhood.  One neighbor gave out persimmons! (A little weird, but whatever!)
That night Parker participated in "Scare Away Hunger" for the Contra Costa Food Bank.  They competed in teams and went trick-or-treating for canned food instead of candy.  They had a great time and did a great service for the community.

Happy Halloween!
