We had Opening Day on Saturday for baseball and Conner played the first game of the season last night for the minor division Rays. He had a great first game. They came back and tied the game in the top of the 4th (it might have been the 5th) and then had two outs in the bottom of the inning when the light came on. So, the score reverted back to the end of the last complete inning and they lost. It was a victory for them though since they were able to come back. We were very proud of Conner. He played catcher for most of the game and his coach said that he's playing really well. He keeps a level head and enjoys being a big part of the team. He also walked once, struck out once and got one hit. Way to go Conner!
