On Our Way Home

Our last morning we got up, got dressed and headed out to breakfast with our carry-on items. It was our last chance to eat some yummy food we didn't have to make and to say good-bye to our wonderful servers.Drew and Christopher on their way out.

After going through customs (they didn't even look at our passports ... why did we pay for those?) Marty picked us up at took us to the Hyatt Orlando airport hotel. We got checked in early (about 10:30), watched some TV, did a little shopping in the airport mall (yes, a full mall inside the airport terminal), had some lunch and did some swimming.

The pool is located outside on the runway. (Well, sort of on the runway). Planes were taking off and landing right there. It was a little noisy as they flew overhead, but they had fountains going so it masked the noise.

The kids playing in the fountains.

The saying goes ... "It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt!" Well, that someone was Calissa, but they had a good time while it lasted.

We flew back to California on Sunday morning. It was hard to leave Orlando, but we had such a great time on our cruise. I think we might need to plan another one, so we have something else to look forward to. Travis and I both agree that cruising is the way to go!
