Week 2 of our backyard remodel began on Monday morning bright and early (I know our neighbors just love us)!
Our pavers were delivered and that's about all that happened that day.
Tuesday, they cleared away more tree/ivy from the neighbors yard and took it away.
They were trying to re-position the trailer but the hitch kept hitting our driveway so some of the guys stood on the end of it so it would stay up higher.
The also replaced the boards in the fence that were too short because of our raised bed that used to be there.
They started on replacing the back corner section of fence, the gate, and reinforcing the back fence.
They moved wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of pavers into the backyard.
They started digging the irrigation holes.
And ... they had a whole lot of green waste on our basketball court!
Wednesday, we headed out of town for Pismo Beach. When we came home on Friday evening this is what we found. The patio was almost done,
We had a path to the basketball court and to the back gate,
The back corner section of fence and gate was finished (almost ... still waiting for a latch) and the back fence was reinforced.
The sprinkling system was almost completely in
and they had delivered a ton of soil.
We love the pavers!
We can hardly wait for it to be finished. It's really starting to take shape. Don't think they'll get it done before we head out of town to Utah on Saturday, but we are excited to see what changes happen this week and once we get back we can start enjoying our backyard!
