Everyone except for me was involved in Dance Festival this year. (I did help out one night in the hallway if that counts as being involved). Calissa got to do the Beehive Dance even though she's not 12 until the 25th, Parker and Conner were old enough to do all the dances including the Specialty ones, and Travis (lucky him) got to do the Bishop's dance.
Here they are after the first nigh of performances. Calissa in her 80's clothes, Parker and Conner sporting their 70's outfits, and Travis as a fox.
Conner has disco fever!
Parker sporting an awesome yellow suit!
"What Does the Fox Say?"
(Travis can tell you)
Calissa's got the beat!
Everyone did the opening number which was done in the dark with a black light. It was really cool. They also did a country number, a disco, and an all boys number. Here's Conner in the all boys number.
Calissa with the Beehives. She did great!

A video clip for your viewing pleasure!
Parker and Morgan dancing the Cha Cha. They needed boys at the last minute, so my boys joined the specialty dances. They had been so busy before and Parker had his sprained ankle that they hadn't made it to any practices. They did great, even though they learned them late. They did a waltz, cha cha, and the swing. My boys can dance!
A clip of Morgan and Parker dancing.
Here's Conner with his partner Claire at the end of the cha cha.
A clip from the cha cha!
The finale!
They all had a great experience (even Travis). So glad our stake does Dance Festival still every three years! Calissa and Conner are looking forward to doing it again.
(Travis is hoping to be released before it happens again!)
