Conner and Calissa played AYSO soccer again this year. It started in August and just ended last week! Conner played on the U14 team this year, and Calissa played U12. They both moved to different divisions this year.
Conner had a pretty good team (Bambinos), but just couldn't finish out the games. They lost quite a few in the 4th quarter that they had been leading.
Conner did a great job and did his best playing forward, or mid-field.
He scored 2 goals for his team this season (and 2 for the other team, but we won't talk about those)! He's not sure if he's going to play again next year, or not.
Calissa was the smallest on her team, but she was not afraid of anyone. She had a fun season and he team ended up in 1st place. They will continue on next weekend in the Area Tournament, but we will be out of town.
Calissa scored 1 goal this season. The last several games, during the fourth quarter the girls were trying to get Calissa a goal. She ended up doing it by herself, dribbling the ball past two defenders to score. Unfortunately, I wasn't there and Travis was reffing so he couldn't cheer, but I heard the team and other parents made up for it!
