Parker was able to attend the temple for the first time yesterday to receive his endowment. The Oakland Temple is closed for two months for maintenance so he was able to go to the Sacramento Temple. One neat thing was that when he turned 12 and could go and do baptisms at the temple for the first time, the Oakland Temple was closed as well, so he went to the Sacramento Temple.
It was a very special day. We were lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa Romer, Jennie Smith, Teri and Chris Rossi, Mike and Cherie von Savoye, Lynn Robason, and Cliff (President) and Michelle March there to be there with us. Most of us stopped at Fenton's on the way home for lunch and ice cream! It was a great day!
